Gateway to the EMS Community
The Swansea Ambulance Corps is a private non-profit organization whose main function is to provide emergency care and transportation to the sick and injured and to provide mutual aid services to surrounding communities.
We have a staff of over 40 Paramedics and EMTs that are on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. We staff two full crews on our state of the art ambulances.
We are supported by grants, the annual fund drive, and third party billing. We receive no funding from the town of Swansea. Your generous donations in any amount are greatly appreciated and help pay for new equipment and training.
Donations may be made to:

In an emergency always dial 9-1-1 !
Recent motor vehicle accidents in Swansea resulted in the death of two pedestrians. In response, the Swansea Ambulance Corps has initiated a "Walk Safe Swansea" program and is distributing high visibility reflective safety vests to Swansea residents. The vests are available at our office located at 285 Wilbur Ave during regular business hours. The vests are free (a donation of $3 is appreciated), one per adult.
